This was not the normal reaction he got to this question. Normally people lost interest and left when they heard he wasn't interested in giving them money. Shouting and panic was...not unheard of, but definitely less common.

Fortunately, he had a plan for this scenario.

"Curses, foiled again. Guess I better leave the planet forever.

You don't happen to have a flying saucer I can borrow, do you?"

He never said it was a particularly GOOD plan.
